Who Am I?

I am a full-stack software developer who specializes in Ruby on Rails. I like to design and build user experiences that focus on three things: usability, scalability, and maintainability. I have a passion for taking user stories and turning them into interfaces users find easy and fun to use, while ensuring the server handles user data efficiently.

I currently work at BacklotCars, where I create features that help empower sellers on our online marketplace. Because making data-driven decisions is important at Backlot, I’ve also helped lead an effort to refactor code related to data tracking to make it more maintainable, and more reliably tested.

Full-Stack Software Developer

Zaarly Inc.

I helped develop new platform features by guiding discussions about UX and creating user stories to inform the development process. Once I’ve built the feature I make sure all it is well tested and meets code standards before it is deployed to production. I also participate in code review and high-level refactoring discussions.
